That's really all you need to know, but for those who are like me and like details, I'll give you an idea of the process.

• Call Stephan Brown, at Wilkinson & Associates at 704-618-6390 and we will set up a time to have a casual conversation at your convenience.
• At our first meeting, I'll explain a little bit more about the process and listen to you and help you share your dreams
• I will recommend a few mortgage companies that you can call and get started on prequalifying for a loan. (If you already know a loan officer, you're more than welcome to use any company you would like.)
• Based on your budget, needs, and dreams, I will search the available market for compatible homes. Of the thousands of homes on the market, I will narrow it down the ones that match you. (However, we can look at as many homes as you need to before making a purchase.)
• We'll make an appointment to view the compatible homes and hopefully you will fall in love with one of them over the others.
• I will perform a Comparative Market Analysis on the home you've selected to determine a fair price to offer for the home.
• I will fill out the contract and submit it to the seller as well as communicate any counteroffers the seller may make.
• Upon the acceptance of your offer, I will aid you in scheduling a survey and inspections for mold, radon, lead, insects (termites), and a home inspection. I will provide a few companies for each inspection from which you can choose. (Of course you are encouraged to be there for inspections, but I will also be present to support you.)
• At this time, we will also be working with your lender toward getting your appraisal and any other necessary work done toward your loan.
• You will choose a closing attorney (again I can provide choices) who will work on searching the title for issues and getting the paperwork ready for closing.
• When the inspections, loan process, and title search are all done, we will schedule closing.
• You can begin enjoying your new home the day of closing.
